I had no plans to take my dive bar/basement hobby of filming live music on tape to a huge venue with thousands of people, but I was very lucky and knew an incredibly helpful soul on the inside (thanks a million, Sammy!). With my press pass, Sony TRV-140, and my Insta360 ONEX, I was able to capture The National (and The Beths) performing some tracks off their new album First Two Pages of Frankenstein and got some more footage from my seat. Sound in front of the stage phases into different monitor mixes so my partner Kate recorded some audio with her iPhone so you can hear a better version of the performance as well as some ladies more interested in talking about t-shirts etc. so enjoy that. Edited and mixed in Adobe Premiere.
